Lea Michele a real American superstar, born on August 29, 1986 in the Bronx, New York. Her career took off in 2006 when she took part in a rock musical Spring Awakening on Broadway. But it was the role of Rachel Berry on Glee (a TV series on Fox) that helped her become so famous.
The beginnings of her professional path were not easy. In one of Allure’s interviews she said: “When I was 15, my mother and I went to meet a manager who said, ‘You have to get a nose job in order for me to work with you,” What’s more, “my mother would say to me, ‘Barbra Streisand never got a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And this was before I really even knew who Barbra was. I just knew that she was, like, the messiah for girls like me.”
She is an ambitious person and at that time she decided to find a better way of shining in the world of glamour. Lea moved to LA to conquer Hollywood. She went to the first audition for Glee and yes, she won the part of Rachel. Within the next few months her entire life simply changed. The actress once said „Rachel is me when I was that age. She knows what she loves and who she is. She doesn’t get caught up in what other people think is important.”
Don’t stop believin’
In fact, she tries to pursuit her dreams and apart from TV programs you can see her on covers of glossy magazines. She loves giving interviews and hints on how to lead a healthy lifestyle. Having friends and fans round makes her feel at home. On Twitter she shares pictures and attempts to inform fans on what is currently going on in her life. All the followers of her social networking profile know perfectly well a phrase she uses „Rise and shine” which gives a great deal of energy for the rest of the day.
A tragic story
However, July 2013 was a sad moment when she found out that her boyfriend, Cory Monteith – also an actor on Glee, died after taking heroin and drinking alcohol in a hotel. For a couple of next weeks she stayed out of the public eye, grieving on her own. She appeared at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards to accept the event’s honors. During her emotional speech she said to the crowd about Cory: „He was very special to me and also to the world, and we were very lucky to witness his incredible talent, his handsome smile and his beautiful, beautiful heart,” she told the crowd.
Now she’s trying to move on and continue to be the same girl she used to be. A positive approach to life will never leave her. We keep our fingers crossed for Michele to put a beautiful smile on her face as usual. For all of you a nice tune to listen to by Lea Michele.
